 The Foundations of Our Faith 2010/11When it comes to building something the most important and first stages of construction is the building of the Foundation for upon it rests everything that you one day dreamed of including in your building. If your foundation is poor longevity will not be realized. The same principles apply in the kingdom of God as such we felt it important to launch Bethel's School of Kingdom Ministry with a focus on the foundations of our faith in Christ Jesus. This was our focus for the 2010/11 Ministry Calendar.

In this message Pastor Michael concludes the series, knowing Jesus, as he talks about how our journey to know Jesus is one that is grown in the place of taking up our cross and following after Him. It is only in this place that we truly begin to know Jesus and who he really is as the Son of God. In this series we learn that a son does not have a will of his own but rather desires to do only His Fathers will.

In this series Pastor Michael begins to talk about God's desire to communicate with us and lays a biblical foundation for believers to hear the voice of God and that it wasn't just for the saints of old but is for you today. Also in this session he gives the students a set of principles to know how to test their spiritual experiences against the Word of God, called the 4 W's.
