...Letter from Overseer

  Pastor Michael Sitko - Overseer Bethel School of Kingdom Ministry.

As the founder of Bethel’s School of Kingdom Ministry I felt led to take a few minutes to share my heart with you and let you know a little bit of the passion & heart behind the School and the desire that it was birthed out of.

In January of 2005, after an encounter with the Lord, He shared with me His heart to see his sons & daughters equipped with a knowledge of who He is, who they are, and the Kingdom that He sent His Son to establish on the earth.

The Lord Jesus, when he was about to depart to the Father left these instructions with His disciples and commanded them to pass them on to the generations to follow until the entire earth had heard about and experienced the Kingdom that His Father had sent Him to establish upon the earth.

As the Lord Jesus said, "I have come to kindle a fire and how I wish it was already kindled".  We are living in the time that Jesus desired to see, the time when the fire He  came to kindle was fully burning and set ablaze to consume the earth with the fire of His love and the Kingdom of His Father.

His last instructions to His disciples were these "God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I'll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age." Matt 28:18-20 The Message

"These are some of the signs that will accompany believers: They will throw out demons in my name, they will speak in new tongues, they will take snakes in their hands, they will drink poison and not be hurt, they will lay hands on the sick and make them well." Mark 16:17,18; The Message

Growing up in the church and not seeing these things that Jesus taught and demonstrated to His disciples caused a great turmoil in my heart.  Not seeing in the church, what I saw so clearly in the Word of God, my heart was set ablaze with a passionate pursuit to know the Gospel of the Kingdom in the same way in which His disciples experienced it 2000 years ago.

Out of this desire, we came to birth Bethel’s School of Kingdom Ministry to see the Gospel of the Kingdom of our God and Father engulf the whole earth.   Seeing the lame walk, the blind see, the lepers cleansed, and the dead raised.

It is with this resolve that we serve our Father with our eyes fixed on the prize of seeing His fire kindled and burning strong in our church, city, nation & the nations so that our God will receive His full reward.  This is the heart behind the vision, simply to see His Kingdom come here on earth as it is in heaven.
