...The Vision:
In Matthew 9:38; Jesus instructed His disciples to pray to the Lord of the Harvest for workers. For the harvest was great but the laborers were few.
Our vision here at Bethel’s School of Kingdom Ministry is to find & harvest these workers and to see them released into the fields of the Master so that He may receive His full reward. A large part of producing quality workers is the faithful stewardship of those laborers He supplies. Our goal is to see a generation of sons & daughters strong in the Spirit, knowledgeable in the Word & fully equipped to do the work the Father has called them to.
In accomplishing this mandate here at Bethel we have developed an equipping Ministry Model that we have dubbed the “I.T.E.C.S. Ministry Model”. In studying the Ministry of Jesus we found that there were some basic principles contained within His ministry that He utilized for the training & equipping of His disciples.
The Model:
The following are the basic components of this Ministry Model:
I = Identify.
This first and foundational component of the Equipping Model is based upon teaching the student who they are in Christ and what it means to live as a son or daughter of God. It is our experience that it is only as a person begins to understand who they are, that they are then able to become who they were created to be.
T = Train.
In the book of Proverbs we see the command given to train up a child in the way they should go and that as the years progress they will hold to their course. As we looked into the Hebrew tradition of this teaching we found that it actually meant to teach the child who they were created by God to be and that when they truly find themselves they will continue steadfastly in the call of God on their life.
E = Equip.
As we observe the Lord Jesus as He mentored His 12 disciples we see Him walking with them on a daily basis teaching, training & mentoring them up into the ways of the sons of God. In the same way He equipped His disciples through teaching & demonstrating we have learned to employ this same method to thoroughly & completely equip our students.
C = Commission.
An essential and important step in the process of the Ministry of Jesus was the commissioning of His disciples to the work of carrying the Gospel of the Kingdom to the World. As He taught them their role as the sons of God in carrying out the plans of the Father, in the same way we teach our students the purposes of the sons of God and the purpose of the church today to know their role in transforming & discipling Nations.
S = Send.
The last component of the ITECS Ministry Model is the partnerships that we foster both at home and around the Nations to work together to both send and receive the sons & daughters of God to help labour in the work of the Ministry. As Jesus commanded we should pray the Lord of the Harvest for workers and as the Lord supplies we have committed to form partnerships with other ministries and churches for the strategic deployment of these Ministers.
The Invitation:
This is the Vision, Mission & Mandate given to us by the Father for the equipping of His workers here through Bethel’s School of Kingdom Ministry. If you desire to know who you were created to be and would like to embark on a journey to become all that God has purposed for you, it we would be our privilege & honor to be a part of helping you on your journey.
