Year-End Impact 2022

At Bethel Brandon, we are excited to be wrapping up this year with what we are calling Year-End IMPACT 2022. After a difficult two years for everyone, we are excited that we can again focus on extending the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to our neighbors – our city, our country and the mission fields abroad. We’re continuing to Be-the-light, Be-the-link, Be-the-love, Be-the-life! What better way to end the year than to make a difference in the lives of others and build the Kingdom of God?

We have prayerfully selected a few ways we believe we can make a spiritual investment in missions, and after that, by investing in the effectiveness of our own ministry plan here at Bethel Brandon.

This year our focus will be:

1.  Africa Missions Project – Chicken Barn: $4,000  (COMPLETED!)
Bill & Shirley Pipke, global missionaries to Africa, are raising funds to purchase laying hens for a chicken barn in Kitwe, Zambia. 1 laying hen costs $12. This “egg-ceptional” gift will help feed people, provide jobs, and make the ministry self-sustainable.   

2.  Operational Budget:  $75,000
This fund is vital for us to serve our church and community with excellence and includes staff salaries, building improvements, curriculum and supplies for our children and youth programs, cleaning supplies, and the ever-increasing cost of utilities.

3.  Foyer Flooring Project:  $25,000
This project will allow us to finish the flooring in the foyer and new Bethel Café area.

We would be remiss if we didn’t give you a brief update on what we have accomplished so far this year! Through your giving, we have been able to bless so many. We helped to bring a family from Ukraine to Brandon and settle them into a furnished home where they can feel safe and secure. We continue to support Pastors Ricardo and Gloria in the Philippines – helping them with medicine for medical challenges and funding a feeding and evangelistic program for the children in their community. Our missionary in Latin America is receiving funding to assist in providing food and finances for many churches as they reach out to the poor and disabled. And there is so much more that we have been able to do!
